What is the 183-day rule?
Most countries consider you a tax resident once you spend 183 days there in a year. Movokit counts your days per country automatically and alerts you well before you approach the threshold, so you can plan your travel with confidence.
Does Movokit only track flights?
No. Journeys are built from legs by plane, train or bus — including multi-leg trips with intermediate stops. Every leg contributes to the day counting for the right country.
Can I import my existing travel history?
Yes. You can import journeys from a CSV file and be up and running in minutes. Exporting works the same way, so your data is never locked in.
Is my data private?
Your data belongs to you. Accounts support two-factor authentication and Google sign-in, and you can export or delete everything at any time.
